Well, I think I am way behind on any info for April. Sorry. To begin with, Tara learned about April fools day and decided it was a great idea to say any silly thing she wanted to followed by "april fools!" and it was funny. She'd say "oh mom, there's a bug on your head." (not realizing she knew about april fools) I'd freak out, brushing nothing off my head and she would yell "april fools!" Needless to say, we are still hearing "april fools" all the time. She thinks it's hilarious. Jake and Emily don't understand what fooling is...so, they get really mad at her and don't understand. The weather has been great, so we have been outside every day. I have tan crisscrosses on my feet where my sandals have been. There aren't too many bugs yet, so it's still pleasant. We enjoyed Conference weekend, had crepes and all....Emily did make a comment about Sun. morning session she fell asleep and when she woke up she said.."those three missionaries said those three prayers and hurt my ears, I didn't like it." Anyone in a suit is a missionary....guess she thought it was one long prayer. Tara had her kindergarten patriotic concert on the 6th. She did a great job and was very enthusiastic. The zoom on my camera is broken, so I just got one picture of her very far away. I did record some on the video camera you can see later. I finally took my final exam (it took 2 weeks to get here, some hang up in the campus mail system) and I'm now on to my next class called' family processes' I was released from my calling as RS teacher and called to 1st counselor in the primary presidency. Yesterday was tricky as we tried to pull the whole primary participation in the sacrament easter program and sharing time together. The chorister moved on Friday, so I had to wing it....very stressful, but a new person has been called, so my job should be more supervisory, filling in when needed. The kids had easter egg hunts at school and the play group at church had one. Tara went to her neighbor Shelby's church for another egg hunt and found a whoping 36 eggs and a huge chocolate bunny as big as her head! Needless to say, the Easter bunny also found our house. Jake ate his chocolate bunny, half of Emily's and had Tara's unwrapped when I got out of the shower yesterday morning. He's been bouncing off the walls, but is now napping. Gene is looking for a new job, so we went Friday to Nashville for him to have an interview. We played at the Centennial park while he had his interview....you can see what fun it was from the pictures. It was nice the kids had the day off, and we played alot, fed the ducks, walked all around at the park, it was great. This past week 2 of my visiting teachees had trouble, one crushed her wrist bone, and the other lost her dad on Tues. So, in between our regular stuff, I've been running meals around town. Life sure is busy. But, we think of you all often and hope you've had a good holiday.
