Father's day and VBS

Well, I heard thru a friend that a local church was doing free vacation bible school last week...so I took the kids and they loved it. They made crafts, sang songs, played and made alot of new friends. Jacobs favorite part was the puppet show, Emily's was being a messenger in a play and putting on some of queen esther's perfume. Their whole church was decorated like the streets in bible time...and they had live characters. The last day they had cotton candy, snow cones and inflatables...even free t-shirts. We had a fun father's day. After our friend Eric Branner's baptism, we went out to Chilis to thank our dad for being a great dad.
Then the kids dressed up in Dad's clothes, we surprised him with a framed version of these above. He loved it. The kids sang in church and all in all we had a good week. This week some of the young women in the ward are doing a "summer camp" for the kids...so, we have kept busy and happy this summer. We hope you all are well too.

Jacob lost another tooth. The other bottom front tooth. We knew it wouldn't take long. Yesterday is was blowing around with the wind as he spoke. I knew it wasn't attached to anything. It just fell out, no food involved this time.
So, Emily is missing her two upper front teeth and Jacob is missing his two lower front teeth...makes a fun picture.
We are enjoying summer break. We have been doing alot of reading , going to the library, playing in the sprinkler, playing at friends houses, going to free movies at the theaters and cleaning. We took out the kids beds from their rooms and cleaned under them, cleaned out closets entirely and drawers. Emily asked "Please Mom, can we not clean so much tomorrow"...."ok, fine" I said, "we have nothing left to clean, it's all done now". Gene is in Chicago til late tomorrow night. But, we are all well.
