A little scary

Emily's entry for the Reflections contest this year.  The theme is "diversity  means..."
Her interpretation of diversity is horses of different colors....she's still working on her essay.

Tara and friend Regan went to the Middleschool Halloween dance party.  Regan won best costume.  They had fun with a silly string fight and photo booth and tie dye station, etc.

Capt'n Tara....arrgh!

A costume you can really "get in to"...her whole self fits.

This one was supposed to be first.

Night of the trunk-or-treat at church.

Boba fett....nothing beats a star wars character.

Emily's turn to be a pirate
Tara had to draw "peasants" for social studies...this was her interpretation.Notice the erased wheeled suitcase replaced by the basket.
Things got a little scary while dad was gone this week to the beach.  FHE turns a little bit wild while he's gone.

Another option for Halloween

Yay!  Jacob had straight A's this grading term.

Emily's new rainy day attire....brightens up the dreariest days.

Outdoor fall time

We went to Oakes farm this week during our fall break.  It was nice to have a couple of days to not do school or work.  The weather was beautiful....we love being outside when it's like this

Getting up on the tractor was fun...getting down was harder for some.

So many pumpkins and scarecrows they made a "tree" out of them.

Tire slides were fun but super bumpy.

Kings of the tire/sand mountain.

Jumping on the air "pillow"

The "rat" race.  Kids need more practice running in circles...

A self-propelled go kart....you have to pedal it....some went faster than others.

Trying to figure out which way to go next in the corn maze.

slower.
