It seems like it takes me longer each week to get quiet time on the computer. Not too much is happening. We had a good weekend with more construction....Gene replaced Jacobs door so now you can shut it and it stays shut. ...and it looks better too. He's locked himself in twice now. But he likes it, he can keep the girls out. Also, the wind blew off the screen door on the front door the other day, so Gene replaced that too. We'll hopefully open up Jake's closet like we did ours next Saturday. We have the materials, we just need the time. We've been making Valentines and preparing for Jake's 3rd birthday party on Saturday. Emily goes back to preschool tomorrow....then maybe I can get some studying done. Other than that we are all healthy and happy. Tara's "tearing" up the homework in reading, it's like everything has clicked and she reads everything all around her. She recognizes when Jimmy Newtron is on the tv guide (can't pretend like it's not on now)....she read "cotton swabs" this morning as I was blow drying her hair. Every once in a while she'll get the vowel sound off and it doesn't make sense. Yesterday we were in the play room and she kept saying "play fod....what in the world is play fod?" It tooke me a minute to register.....Tara, "food, it's food not fod"....oh! it's like an awakening for her. You don't realize how much of the world around you is missing when you can't read. I take it for granted. We hope the rest of you are well and warm.
