Making home made playdoh with cream of tartar.  It's not edible, but, it feels really close to the kind you buy.  We made lots of colors in just a few minutes.  Making it was just as fun as playing with it.
The whole thing clings together in the pot and you just lift it out with a wooden spoon.
Emily wanted to make purple....it starts out pretty runny.  She had her doubts about it working.
Here they are labeled by Jacob.  I love the way he chooses to spell...."play doe"

Emily made a sunshine with sunglasses and wrote "sunny's first sunman"
It's been warm enough to get out the water slide.  All three could slide at the same time with this one.
This is Gene's past time...he's been mowing alot since the weather has been perfect for grass growing.  The owners of the property behind us took down all the tall trees.  I guess they could since it was over the property line.  But, I'm sad they are gone now.
We finally opened the door.  The extra storage room that was hit by the tree last summer was repaired on the roof but, nothing was done inside.  So, we cleaned it out....took a trip to the dump and bought new shelves for all of Gene's tools and outdoor necessities.
Emily trying to get the carpet that was stuck scraped off the cement.  Now we can get the outdoor access open to that room.  This is truly a weekend miracle.
This is a bit late but, here's the gang on Easter.  It's sad they won't let me match their easter outfits anymore.  But, they were happy with what they chose.

We've been super busy..Emily is taking piano still and doing a great job.  TCAP tests were this past week.  Its a comprehensive test that takes all week.  The kids said their "brains hurt".  All the kids are taking swim lessons.  We're glad spring is here.
