Jacob's 7

Jacob had a fantastic birthday this week. He started out a bit rough....a fever from Sunday morning (mom made him make it through sacrament meeting even though he kept his big puffy coat on shivering the whole time) until Tues. He smashed his own finger in the laundry room door. He missed a couple days of school but recovered just in time to celebrate his birthday at school and then valentine's day. He woke up and had on this birthday crown from last year and a blanket on watching cartoons. He remembered Tara's day of "yes"es from Mom and thought he'd try it out for himself. A chocolate chip muffin for breakfast, picked out his own clothes, bought icecream in the cafeteria with his lunch (which always is a NO). He got this book How do Dinosaurs say I love you....donated to the library and a balloon.

His place to eat dinner was Chuck E. Cheese....big surprise there. He ran and played and had pizza. It actually was quite fun. The kids got alot of tickets. Tara found a new game that shoots battle ships ,Sea War, as they cruise by. She kept getting these amazing hits and earning 20 tickets at a time. Jacob had 100 tickets to turn in and got a .....whoopie cushion. He called it a whooshi tushin...it was very funny.

We found these cool candles that light themselves. Well, you light one and then a string attaching the rest lights the other candles. It was a huge flame. Notice Tara in the background reading Harry Potter.
